The singer and rapper, who signed up for mandatory military training in South Korea on Tuesday, has released the first pictures of him inside an army camp.
The BTS star entered the Yuncheon military base in North Gyeonggi Province on December 13.
The 30-year-old singer walked straight into the boot camp without greeting Army Y and media personnel due to security concerns.
In the pictures that surfaced, Jin is seen getting his new military haircut and saluting with the rest of the trainers at a reception for recruits.
Jin is the first member of BTS to be drafted for military service in South Korea and will spend 18 months as an active duty soldier.
