Christina Ricci’s tumultuous divorce from film producer James Herdigan has been finalized two years after their bitter split that included allegations of domestic abuse, a restraining order, and a custody battle on both sides.
The 41-year-old actress – who has recently been praised Wednesday Co-star Gina Ortega — and her first husband — have agreed to a legal separation, according to a report Tuesday. TMZ
As the two have an eight-year-old son named Frederick ‘Freddy’ Herdigan, they will share joint custody of the child but Ricci will be the major decision-maker when it comes to anything medical or educational.
He also has primary custody but they will divide the physical custody according to the site.
